A collection of recordings produced from 2011 to 2016. Includes material previously shared on SoundCloud and Instagram, as well as several compositions that have never been issued (many of which I forgot about entirely). This is not an exhaustive collection as a good many of my unreleased experimental recordings from this period are frankly unlistenable improvisations. The audio quality of these recordings vary, with a few tracks sourced from mono iPhone 4 recordings. Exactly half of the tracks were recorded in 2016, a point in time where I seem to have reached a perfect balance of productiveness and listenability. For this compilation I considered audio experiments dating back to 2009 and even one composition from 2003, but I felt these recordings weren't up to scratch.

The primary reason for this compilation was simply because I needed to free some space from my SoundCloud (www.soundcloud.com/laughmotel) as I have an album of all new recordings in the works that I intend to eventually post there. It was interesting to rediscover some music I had recorded yet entirely forgot ever existed. While putting this album together I was able to rediscover some interesting ideas I've had in the past. Some of these ideas have already begun working their way into the material I have planned for the upcoming album. Stay tuned for updates.
